Friday in Latvia is expected to be dry, with changing amounts of cloud. This is the forecast of the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LVĢMC), the state institution that prepares weather forecasts and provides information on the state of the environment.

Wind and temperature

Winds will blow mainly from the south and will strengthen slightly along the sea coast. The maximum air temperature across the country will reach between +10 and +15°C.

Fog in the first half of the day

Fog will still remain in places during the first half of the day, so visibility in the morning hours may be poorer in some areas. Cloud cover will vary as the day goes on, but the forecasts include no precipitation.

Weather in Riga

In Riga, the Latvian capital, the sun will at times be visible in the sky, and the day will pass without precipitation. The wind will be southerly, light to moderate. The air in the city will warm to +13...+14°C.

Overall, Friday's weather will be relatively warm and dry, and forecasters do not expect rain in any part of the country. More information on weather conditions and forecasts is available in the news published by LVĢMC.
