Exhibition Related to American Family Opens at Pedvale Art Park

Pedvale Art Park, located in Kurzeme on the left bank of the Abava River valley near Sabile, has become the venue for a new exhibition connected with an American family. The show has opened at a time when the park appears especially lively, with a noticeable atmosphere of revival. This activity comes ahead of the 80th birthday of the park’s founder and owner, sculptor Ojārs Feldbergs.

Feldbergs established the open-air art museum shortly after Latvia restored its independence. The park occupies the grounds of the Firks-Pedvale and Briņķu-Pedvale estates, covering almost 100 hectares. Its collection includes sculptures and other artworks displayed in the open air.

Visitors can now see this exhibition, which adds to the park’s existing offerings. The display draws attention not only for its content but also as a sign that the park continues to develop. There is a palpable excitement in connection with the upcoming milestone — the sculptor will soon celebrate a round birthday.
