233 clashes recorded on battlefield in past day, heaviest fighting near Kostiantynivka — Ukraine's General Staff
Ukraine's General Staff reports 233 combat clashes with Russian forces over the past day, with the most intense fighting occurring on the Kostiantynivka front. Pokrovsk and Sloviansk fronts also saw heavy Russian assault activity.

According to Ukraine's General Staff of the Armed Forces, citing the situation as of 08:00 on 15 August, Ukrainian and Russian forces engaged in 233 combat clashes along the front line over the previous 24 hours.
Northern and southern Slobozhanshchyna
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front, including the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Ukrainian troops repelled six Russian attacks. On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, 12 attacks were fought off, with Russian forces attempting to advance near Starytsia, Vovchansk and several other settlements.
Kupiansk, Lyman and Sloviansk fronts
On the Kupiansk front, 14 Russian offensive actions were recorded near Petro-Ivanivka and Holubivka. On the Lyman front, Ukrainian forces repelled five attempted breakthroughs near Drobysheve and Lyman. On the Sloviansk front, Russian troops carried out 23 assaults near several settlements, including Riznykivka and Kryva Luka.
Heaviest fighting on Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk fronts
On the Kramatorsk front, one Russian offensive action was recorded near Yurkivka. The most intense combat occurred on the Kostiantynivka front, where 34 Russian attacks were logged near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Toretske and Sofiivka. On the Pokrovsk front, Russian forces launched 29 attacks, attempting to advance near multiple settlements.
Other front sections
Six Russian attacks were recorded on the Oleksandrivka front and seven on the Huliaipole front. On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian defenders stopped one Russian attempt to advance toward Pavlivka.
