Eesti 200 Debates Its Future and Possible Merger With Estonian Greens
The council of delegates of Eesti 200, a party in Estonia's ruling coalition, met in Tallinn on 18 October to discuss its future. One item is a possible merger with the Estonian Greens.

The council of delegates of Estonia's Eesti 200 party met in Tallinn on 18 October to decide on the party's way forward, including a possible merger with the Estonian Greens. Eesti 200 governs in coalition with the Reform Party, but its low poll numbers have raised questions about taking part in the next election.
The party's press secretary said the agenda covers the future of Eesti 200, preparations for the Riigikogu (Estonian parliament) elections and the potential merger with the Greens.
Low ratings and a dispute over the election
According to polls, support for Eesti 200 has stayed at around 2 percent for several months. Members disagree on what to do: some debate whether the party should run in the Riigikogu elections at all, whether it makes sense to run jointly with the Greens, or whether it would be better to skip this election cycle.
Parliamentary group and membership
In the 2023 election, 14 Eesti 200 candidates won seats in the Riigikogu. After the expulsion of Züleyxa Izmailova and the departure of Kalev Stoicescu, the party's parliamentary group has 12 members.
According to the Commercial Register, the party had 548 members as of 18 October.
