Explosions Rock Occupied Crimea Overnight: Fire Erupts
A series of explosions was reported in occupied Crimea overnight on June 19, including in Sevastopol and Armyansk, with air defense systems activated. Witnesses say a gas station between Perekop and Armyansk was hit, causing a visible fire.

Overnight into June 19, multiple explosions rocked the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. Local residents reported a series of blasts in Sevastopol, where air defense systems were activated. Explosions were also heard in Armyansk, near the "Crimean Titan" plant, as well as in the vicinity of the Kacha and Saki airfields and the Hvardiiske airbase.
According to reports, a gas station between Perekop and Armyansk may have been struck, with a fire visible in the area. The occupation authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
This follows a major Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow oil refinery in Kapotnya on June 18, which triggered a large fire. Russian media describe that attack as the largest in two years, with some Muscovites reporting "oil rain" in certain districts.
