A court installed by Russian occupation forces in occupied Donetsk, the Voroshilovsky interdistrict court, has sentenced 54-year-old blogger and lawyer Tetiana Montian. She is known as a Z-blogger, meaning a supporter of Russia's war who spreads propaganda. The court gave her one year and six months in a general-regime penal colony.

The stated basis is calls for "extremism". The wording comes from the source and reflects the position of a court run by the Russian occupation authorities.

The Ukrainian outlet Ukrainska Pravda framed the ruling by saying that propagandists were jailed by "their own". That is the outlet's characterisation, not a statement from the court.

Donetsk has been under Russian control since the occupation, so Ukraine does not regard this court as legitimate. The source describes it as a body appointed by the occupiers. It gives no further details on the proceedings, the evidence or any possible appeal.
