The National Rugby League (NRL) has announced the Grand Final March, a public event across Sydney Harbour Bridge scheduled for Monday, 28 September 2026. Fans of all four Grand Final teams — two NRL sides and two NRLW sides — will take part, alongside club mascots, league legends and club ambassadors, as the event officially launches Grand Final week.

Supporters will gather in two groups, at Campbell's Cove and at Bradfield Park in Milsons Point, before both groups cross the bridge at 4:30pm and meet at Campbell's Cove for the official week-opening celebrations. Giveaways will be offered along the route, including the chance to win signed vintage club jerseys.

Junior clinic and teams yet to be confirmed

Children aged 5 to 12 can join a free League Stars clinic at Bradfield Park from 3pm to 4pm, followed by a parade across the bridge at 4:30pm. According to both NRL.com and ad-hoc-news.de, the final list of four participating teams will only be confirmed after this weekend's preliminary finals, so the exact split of fans between the two meeting points may still change.

One Grand Final berth is already settled: as reported by the Brisbane Times, the Sydney Roosters beat the Dolphins 36-20 in Friday's preliminary final at Suncorp Stadium in front of 52,286 fans, ending Redcliffe's maiden run to a grand final. Roosters winger Mark Nawaqanitawase played a decisive role with two intercept tries during the match.

According to ad-hoc-news.de, Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel arch bridge linking the central business district with Milsons Point, opened to the public on 19 March 1932. It spans 1,149 metres in total, with a main arch span of 503 metres and a highest point of 134 metres above sea level. The NRL's announcement does not indicate any road closure of the bridge for the event.
