Exit from Cable-Stayed Bridge to Pils Square to close from Monday
Because of reconstruction work on Torņa Street in Riga, the exit from the Cable-Stayed Bridge to Pils Square and part of the square will be closed to vehicles from 19 to 28 October.
In Riga, the exit from the Cable-Stayed Bridge towards Castle Square (Pils Square) will be closed to vehicles from Monday, 19 October, to Wednesday, 28 October. The closure is linked to the reconstruction of Torņa Street.
The stretch of Pils Square between Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and Torņa Street will also be closed to vehicles during the same period.
The restrictions apply to vehicles and will remain in force for the whole period while the Torņa Street reconstruction is under way. Drivers who usually travel this way will need to plan a different route.
