Weekend to Bring Last Warmth Up to 20°C Before Weather Turns
Latvia will see dry weather with temperatures up to 20°C on Friday and Saturday, but a cyclone will bring cooler, rainier conditions next week.

Most of Latvia will enjoy dry weather with variable cloud cover this Friday and Saturday, as sunshine alternates with clouds. Winds will be light on both days, which may allow fog to form at night and in the early morning hours in some areas, reducing visibility.
Nighttime temperatures across most of the country will range from 3 to 8 degrees, while coastal areas will stay milder at 8 to 12 degrees. During the day, sunshine will warm the air to 15–20 degrees, marking one of the last stretches of warmth before conditions deteriorate.
First rain expected Sunday
On Sunday, cloud cover will remain variable, with rain expected in western parts of the country during the afternoon. Winds will blow light to moderate from the southwest and west. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 9–13 degrees, while daytime highs will not exceed 15–17 degrees.
Cyclone to affect next week
As the new week begins, a strengthening cyclone will bring increased cloud cover and rain to nearly all regions at some point. Southwest and west winds will also intensify, becoming gusty in places. Nighttime temperatures will stay similar to those at the end of this week, but daytime temperatures will cool, with highs ranging from 12 to 17 degrees.
