A 14-year-old boy from Victoria's Hume region has been charged with murder, becoming the third teenager arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of Darweish Mohamed. The victim was found outside a hospital on Wednesday evening.

Australian police have charged a third teenager in connection with the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Darweish Mohamed in Melbourne. The 14-year-old from Victoria's Hume area was arrested on Friday evening and charged with murder. He is scheduled to appear before a children's court.
Darweish Mohamed, from Mickleham, was found critically wounded outside Craigieburn Community Hospital in the city's north at about 7:50 pm on Wednesday. A staff member rushed to his aid and performed CPR, but he died at the scene.
Earlier, on Thursday morning, police arrested two people in the nearby suburb of Pascoe Vale. A 16-year-old boy from the Goulburn Valley was charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear in a children's court. A 20-year-old man from Beveridge was charged with criminal damage by fire and bailed to appear at Broadmeadows Magistrates Court on December 1.
On Friday, police announced a second murder charge had been laid against a 15-year-old boy from the Craigieburn area. He will also face a children's court. Additionally, a 15-year-old girl from Fawkner has been charged with affray and theft of a motor vehicle and was bailed to appear in court later.
A burnt-out car found at Oaklands Junction has been linked to the stabbing.
Loved ones of Darweish have asked the community to keep him in their prayers. Family friend Mohamed Bakhit launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for funeral expenses. By Saturday morning, the campaign had raised more than $54,000 towards a goal of $60,000. It asks those unable to donate to keep Darweish and his family in their du'as, an Arabic term for Islamic prayer.
Victoria's Education Department confirmed it would provide support to affected school communities, calling the death of the Mount Ridley College student a tragedy.
