Newspapers owned by Germany's Axel Springer publishing house, working jointly with Britain's The Daily Telegraph, have identified a man suspected of involvement in last August's failed attempt to trigger an explosion at Leipzig/Halle airport in Germany. The joint investigation determined that the suspect's name is Oleg Levushkin.

According to information published by Politico, Levushkin holds dual Latvian and Russian citizenship. Media reports indicate that he previously lived in Riga before relocating at some point and later becoming connected to the incident in Germany.

The case itself concerns an event that took place in August, in which a planned explosion at the airport was ultimately not carried out. The source material does not specify the suspect's current whereabouts, possible motives, or any connection to other incidents.

The suspect's identity became public knowledge as a result of a collaborative investigative effort involving several European media outlets, including both German and British publications.
