Last Karosta Festival concludes in Liepāja – organizers say goal achieved

The eighth and final Karosta Festival has taken place in Liepāja, with organizers stating that their original aim to transform the former military town into a recognized tourist destination has been accomplished.

The Karosta Festival, held over a week in Liepāja, marked its eighth edition this year, which also turned out to be the last. Festival organizers announced that the primary goal of turning the former military settlement into an attractive and creative tourism hotspot has been reached. Although the festival is ending, organizers emphasize that activities in Karosta will continue, albeit in a different format.
