Lens beat PSG to claim second trophy of the season
RC Lens defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the French Super Cup, holding on for around an hour while playing with ten men. Zinedine Zidane watched the match in person.

RC Lens claimed victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the French Super Cup, known as the Trophée des Champions, winning 1-0 at their home ground, Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
The result was made more notable by the fact that Lens had to defend their lead for roughly an hour while playing a man down after a red card reduced their numbers. Despite the numerical disadvantage, the northern French club managed to see out the match and secure the win.
Lens forwards Florian Thauvin and Florian Sotoca were among the players who lifted the trophy afterward, celebrating alongside their teammates. Former France international and coach Zinédine Zidane was present in the stands to watch the match.
The victory marks Lens' second title of the year so far.
