Estonia's Alarm Centre received a report at 4:28 am on August 10 about a fire in a sauna house on Melissi Street in the village of Laulasmaa, Lääne-Harju parish.

Professional rescuers from Keila and Paldiski, volunteer crews from Hüüru and Lohusalu, and an ambulance crew responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found no one inside the building.

The fire had engulfed a small sauna building. Firefighters managed to fully extinguish the blaze by 6:24 am.

Since the sauna had not been used for a long time, its owner suspects an old refrigerator may have caused the fire. The exact cause will be determined during further investigation.
