Lancashire, Yorkshire, Durham and Notts reach One-Day Cup quarter-finals as Flintoff scores maiden century
The One-Day Cup group stage has concluded, with Lancashire, Yorkshire, Durham and Nottinghamshire securing the remaining knockout spots while holders Worcestershire were eliminated. Lancashire set a club record score against Somerset.

The group stage of England's One-Day Cup has wrapped up, settling the final four places in the knockout rounds. Group leaders Leicestershire and Middlesex had already secured their progression, but the remaining spots were decided in dramatic fashion.
Lancashire booked their quarter-final berth with a huge win over Somerset at Taunton, posting their highest-ever List A total of 443-6 from 50 overs. The innings was built on centuries from experienced opener Keaton Jennings, who made 156, and teenager Rocky Flintoff, who blasted a maiden century of 123 from just 76 balls. Somerset never recovered from the early pressure and were bowled out for 269.
The third Group A qualifying spot went to Nottinghamshire, who chased down 299 against Surrey at the Oval. George Munsey top-scored with 138, while captain Haseeb Hameed added 51 as the visitors completed the chase.
Middlesex topped Group B thanks to Joe Cracknell's maiden white-ball century, securing a home semi-final for the first time since 1990. They were joined in the knockouts by Yorkshire and Durham, while defending champions Worcestershire were narrowly eliminated.
Yorkshire claimed second place in Group B with a win over an already-eliminated Essex side, earning a home quarter-final. Durham secured third place after a tense finish against Worcestershire, losing several late wickets before scrambling to the target they needed.
Elsewhere, Derbyshire ended Hampshire's hopes of a fifth straight year in the knockouts despite a stunning 110 from Andrew Neal. Warwickshire cruised past Kent, though neither side advanced from Group A. Gloucestershire overcame Northamptonshire, while Middlesex also thrashed Sussex on their way to a home semi-final.
