A busy round of matches in England's domestic One-Day Cup produced significant results for several counties chasing progress in the competition.

At Taunton, Somerset delivered one of the day's most emphatic performances, beating Surrey by 188 runs. After losing Johnny Connell early, Tom Lammonby and Goldsworthy put on a 152-run stand for the second wicket, with Lammonby finishing on 114. Archie Vaughan (52) and Kian Roberts (32) added further runs in the middle order as the hosts posted a huge 368-9. Surrey's reply never got going, and they were bowled out for 180.

Other results

Nottinghamshire completed a six-wicket win over Northamptonshire, built on innings from Freddie McCann (91) and captain Haseeb Hameed (51), before Kyle Verreynne and Lyndon James saw the hosts home with an unbroken 69-run stand.

Leicestershire edged past Warwickshire by three wickets, with Nick Kelly's composed 86 proving decisive after a shaky start. Lancashire won late against Gloucestershire despite a near-century from Cameron Bancroft (98) and 75 from captain Jack Taylor.

Middlesex overhauled a big Durham total with a well-paced chase featuring a 96-run stand between Ben Geddes (77) and Joe Cracknell (84), finished off by the lower order with balls to spare. Yorkshire beat Derbyshire by five wickets in the final over, while Essex survived a thriller against Glamorgan, winning by three runs after restricting the hosts to just two runs from a final over in which six were needed. Worcestershire Rapids completed their chase against Sussex thanks to an unbeaten century from captain Libby.
