Latvian PM Meets US Special Envoy, Seeks Help Against Hybrid Attacks at Border

Latvia's Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs (AS) held a meeting in Riga with John Cole, the special envoy appointed by US President Donald Trump to handle Belarus-related affairs. The prime minister disclosed details of the meeting during an appearance on the TV3 program "900 sekundes".

According to Kulbergs, he asked the American envoy for support in addressing hybrid attacks occurring at Latvia's border. The prime minister did not provide further specifics about what form such assistance might take or whether any concrete agreements were reached during the talks.
