Kulbergs: temporary bridge idea during Vanšu Bridge repairs is "outside the box"

Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs (AS) told reporters his assessment of a proposal to construct a temporary bridge for the duration of repair works on Riga's Vanšu Bridge. According to the prime minister, the idea can be described as thinking "outside the box" - that is, an unconventional approach to solving the problem.

At the same time, Kulbergs noted that state involvement in co-financing such a temporary solution is not a given and would need to be assessed against several considerations.
