Football star Cristiano Ronaldo has married his partner Georgina Rodríguez after a decade together. The couple got engaged in August last year.
Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and model Georgina Rodríguez have married after being a couple for ten years. The pair first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Rodríguez was working at the time, while Ronaldo was playing for Spanish club Real Madrid.
Engagement and wedding
The couple announced their engagement on 11 August last year. At the time, Rodríguez shared a photo of a large ring on social media, writing in her native Spanish about her commitment to Ronaldo across all her lives.
Ronaldo's career
Over the course of his career, Ronaldo has scored nearly 1,000 goals, playing for Lisbon club Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, as well as the Portuguese national team. He recently appeared at his sixth World Cup, a record for men's tournament finals appearances that he shares with Argentina's Lionel Messi.
