Explosions Reported in Occupied Crimea After Drone Attack
A series of explosions were heard in multiple areas of occupied Crimea overnight on June 25, with air defense systems activated. The attack targeted Sevastopol, Simferopol, Saki, and the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant.

Overnight on June 25, occupied Crimea experienced a wave of drone attacks, according to monitoring channels. Explosions were reported near Sevastopol, Simferopol, and the settlement of Saki, as well as near the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant. The “ATESH” group stated that the attack targeted the entire peninsula. Air defense systems were reported to be active.
The “Exilenova+” channel released a video showing Russian occupiers attempting to shoot down aerial targets over Sevastopol. Meanwhile, the “Crimean Wind” channel reported explosions in the Saki area.
This attack follows previous successful strikes by the “Alpha” special operations center of the Security Service of Ukraine, which targeted air defense systems near the Kerch Strait and infrastructure at the military airfields “Saki” and “Gvardiyske” in occupied Crimea.
