Russia loses 1,390 soldiers and hundreds of equipment units in past day in Ukraine – General Staff
Ukraine's General Staff reports that Russian forces lost 1,390 personnel and a significant amount of equipment in the past day, including 74 artillery systems and 1,851 drones.

According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day Russian troops in Ukraine lost 1,390 soldiers (killed and wounded). From the start of the war on February 24, 2022, to June 17, 2026, total Russian personnel losses amount to approximately 1,394,530.
Equipment losses in the past day include: 7 armored fighting vehicles, 74 artillery systems, 1 multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), 7 ground robotic complexes, 1,851 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 626 vehicles and fuel trucks, and 8 units of special equipment.
Cumulative equipment losses since the beginning of the war are: 24,812 armored vehicles, 44,604 artillery systems, 1,887 MLRS, 1,719 ground robotic complexes, 368,015 UAVs, 110,827 vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,329 special equipment units.
The General Staff emphasized that the data are being updated. These figures represent the Ukrainian defense forces' estimates of Russian losses.
