Russian strikes kill infant in Marhanets, Ukraine hits factory in Russia's Samara

A Russian drone strike on an apartment building in Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region, killed an infant and wounded 11 people, while Ukrainian forces reportedly struck an industrial plant in Russia's Samara.

Overnight, Russian drones struck a residential apartment building in the Ukrainian city of Marhanets, in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack killed an infant and left 11 people injured.

Civilians elsewhere in Ukraine were also targeted. Russian forces shelled a shopping center in Zaporizhzhia overnight, and several people were reported injured in occupier attacks there today, according to regional administration head Ivan Fedorov.

According to a report from the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces, the bulk of Russian military efforts are currently concentrated on the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

Meanwhile, reports from the Russian city of Samara indicate that Ukrainian forces struck an industrial facility there. It is believed the strike may have targeted either the Aviakor or Progress plant.
