The victims were an elderly woman and a 16-year-old girl. Five more people were injured, including one child.
One of the strikes hit near a support center for families and children, damaging the building. There were no visitors inside at the time of the attack.
Girl tried to reach shelter
According to the local outlet Kordon.Media, one of those killed was 16-year-old Kateryna. She had gone to a shop, and when she heard warnings of the incoming bomb strike, she started running toward the nearest shelter. She did not make it in time — a tree fell on her.
Russian strikes on Ukrainian populated areas continue on a regular basis, frequently hitting civilian infrastructure and causing civilian casualties.
