Russian forces launch 949 attacks on Zaporizhzhia region; two dead, three wounded
In the past day, Russian occupiers carried out 949 strikes on 44 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region, killing two and injuring three people.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian armed forces conducted 949 attacks of various types against 44 populated localities in the Zaporizhzhia region. The strikes in the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts resulted in two deaths and three injuries, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration.
According to him, Russian troops carried out 18 aviation strikes, targeting settlements including Malokaterynivka, Zarichne, Novooleksandrivka, Danylivka, Krynychne, and others. Additionally, 715 drone attacks (mostly FPV drones) were recorded against Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Novoyakovlivka, and dozens of other villages. One multiple rocket launcher attack was also reported against Zaliznychne.
Furthermore, 215 artillery strikes were registered against various locations, including Richne, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnohirsk, and others. In total, 68 reports of damage to infrastructure, residential buildings, and vehicles were received.
