Second incident in the same district
City officials said that, according to preliminary information, debris fell in an open area at another location within the same district. No damage or casualties were reported from that incident.
Air raid alert preceded the strikes
Before the attack, an air raid alert had been issued in Kyiv and several other regions of Ukraine overnight due to the threat of drone strikes. Ukraine's capital and surrounding areas remain a frequent target of Russian drone and missile attacks, which have repeatedly damaged infrastructure and civilian buildings.
