Russian drones struck a wholesale warehouse in Lutsk, a city in north-western Ukraine, killing six people. Regional Governor Roman Romaniuk reported the casualties, in information published on 14 October. The strike adds to the civilian losses caused by Russia's war against Ukraine.
Dead and injured
According to the governor, five people died at the scene, while a sixth died later in hospital from their injuries.
Officials gave different figures for the number of wounded. Romaniuk said 10 people were injured, while Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported 12.
Apartment building also hit
Romaniuk said a nine-story apartment building was also struck in the attack. Two people were injured there, one of them a child.
The source does not say how many drones were used in the attack or what damage was done to the buildings. It also does not say what the warehouse was used for. The figures may change if officials provide updated information on the victims.
