Russian forces attacked a gas station in Sumy with a drone on July 4, causing a fire and injuring three women. All victims were hospitalized.

Russian forces attacked a gas station in the city of Sumy with a drone on July 4, according to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, and the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko. The attack sparked a fire. Three women who were at the station were injured and taken to hospital, where they are receiving medical care.
The staff were warned in time about the air strike threat, so employees managed to alert visitors and evacuate. No station personnel were injured.
This attack followed several similar actions by the Russian military. On the night of July 3, four gas stations were attacked in Sumy region, and on July 2, one in Chernihiv region. On July 3, attacks hit four stations in Poltava region, injuring six people.
Earlier, the company WOG announced that due to the security situation, a special operating mode would be introduced in several Ukrainian regions, including Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson regions, and part of Poltava region.
