Russia Launches Strategic Bombers Tu-95MS
On the night of July 6, Ukrainian Air Force reported that several Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers took off from the Olenya airfield in Murmansk region. Simultaneously, Russia is attacking Ukraine with drones, and air raid alerts are in effect in several regions.

Early Monday, July 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Air Force detected the takeoff of several Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region of northwestern Russia. The Air Force urged civilians to monitor further announcements and, in case of an air raid warning, immediately proceed to shelters.
At the same time, the Russian military continues to attack Ukraine with attack drones. Threats are coming from drones entering Ukrainian airspace from both Russian territory and the Black Sea area. As a result of these drone attacks, air raid alerts were declared in all frontline regions of Ukraine.
Earlier, on July 5, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian intelligence had information indicating Russia's preparation for a new massive strike against Ukraine. The current bomber launch is likely part of these preparatory steps.
