Ukraine reports 18 clashes near Kostiantynivka in one day
Ukraine's General Staff says 167 combat engagements took place along the front over the past day, with the highest concentration — 18 — near Kostiantynivka. Russia also used aircraft, drones and strikes on populated areas.
Ukraine's General Staff, in its situation report as of 22:00 on September 25, stated that 167 combat clashes occurred along the front line since the start of the day.
The highest number of engagements — 18 — took place in the Kostiantynivka direction, which remains one of the most active sectors of the front. The Pokrovsk direction followed with 12 repelled Russian attacks, and the Southern Sloboda direction with 10.
Other front-line directions
Ukrainian defense forces repelled six attacks each in the Northern Sloboda and Kursk directions. Three attacks were recorded in the Huliaipole direction and three in the Lyman direction. Two clashes occurred in the Sloviansk direction, while the Kupiansk, Oleksandrivka and Orikhiv directions each saw one attack.
Air and missile strikes
According to the General Staff, Russian forces carried out 56 air strikes over the day, dropping 190 guided bombs. They also deployed 4,346 kamikaze drones and shelled populated areas and Ukrainian military positions 1,816 times.
The report underscores that Russia continues to apply pressure across multiple directions simultaneously, with particularly high intensity in eastern Ukraine.
