Estonians are Latvia's neighbors, but how well do we really know them? In the Latvian Television program 'Aizliegtais paņēmiens' (Forbidden Technique), Laura, a Latvian living in Estonia, shared her observations about the Estonian national character. She pointed out that Estonians possess a healthy dose of self-irony – they are able to laugh even at tragic and outrageous events. This indicates an ability to maintain a sense of humor in difficult situations.

Regarding Estonia's digital breakthrough and successful startups, the program emphasized that this is not a coincidence. These achievements stem from well-considered policies that have long-term fostered technological development and entrepreneurship. Thus, Estonia's digital success is not merely a lucky break but the result of strategic planning.
