Memorial site for traveler Kārlis Bārdelis to be created in Jūrmala

A memorial site is planned in Jūrmala's Kauguri village to honor traveler and six-time Guinness World Record holder Kārlis Bārdelis, who died last year at the age of 40. The initiative is being driven by his sister and close friends.

A memorial site dedicated to well-known traveler Kārlis Bārdelis is being planned in Jūrmala. Bārdelis passed away last year at the age of 40. During his lifetime he became widely known for holding six Guinness World Records related to his travels.

According to Zemgale Regional Television, the memorial site is planned to be located in the Kauguri village area of Jūrmala. The initiative to create the site is being promoted by Bārdelis's sister together with his closest friends.
