Jelgava to cut heating supply to several buildings from October 5–7
From 9 a.m. on October 5 to 6 p.m. on October 7, heating will be temporarily shut off to several buildings in Jelgava due to upgrade works on the district heating system.

Heating utility “Gren Jelgava” has announced a planned interruption of heat supply to a number of buildings in Jelgava, running from 9 a.m. on October 5 until 6 p.m. on October 7.
The affected addresses include Dambja Street 2 and 4, Lielā Street 37, 39, 41 and 49, Puķu Street 1, 3, 5, 6, 14, 20 and 22, Asteru Street 4, as well as Māras Street 1, 1b, 3 and 5.
Reason for the shutdown
According to the company, the interruption is linked to work being carried out under a project to improve the efficiency of Jelgava's district heating system.
Restoration of supply
“Gren Jelgava” says heat supply will be restored to residents as soon as the works are completed, noting that this could happen sooner than the stated deadline.
