New booklet helps parents support children after emotional shock
The Child Protection Center has published 'Emotional Trauma First Aid Kit' – a practical guide for parents and caregivers on how to respond after a child experiences emotional trauma.

The Child Protection Center (BAC) has released a new informational booklet called 'Emotional Trauma First Aid Kit' (ETA). This tool, based on trauma-informed approach, is designed for parents, foster families and other child caregivers.
The material offers practical advice on providing initial emotional support to a child after events that may cause intense anxiety or fear. The booklet compiles simple yet effective methods that help a child feel safer and understood.
According to BAC representatives, ETA is an easy-to-use resource applicable in everyday situations. The material is already available on the BAC website and will be distributed through partner networks as well.
