Gundega Strauta's stained-glass window returns to Jānis Roze bookstore on Barona Street
The stained-glass window "Roze" by artist Gundega Strauta will once again be on display at the Jānis Roze publishing house's bookstore at 5 Krišjāņa Barona Street in Riga.

The stained-glass artwork "Roze", created by artist Gundega Strauta, will soon return to public view at the Jānis Roze bookstore located at 5 Krišjāņa Barona Street in Riga. The news was shared by Ilze Veisbārde, a representative of the publishing house.
The stained-glass piece was previously part of the bookstore's interior and is now being restored to its original location. The artwork is closely tied to the publishing house's name and identity, as its central image depicts a rose — echoing both the company's name and its history.
The Krišjāņa Barona Street location is one of the best-known Jānis Roze retail outlets in central Riga. The return of the artwork will enhance the store's visual character and give visitors the chance to view the piece in person once again.
