Alleged Irish crime gang boss Daniel Kinahan charged, held in custody

Daniel Kinahan, reputedly a senior figure in an Irish organised crime gang, has been charged with directing the group and remanded in custody after an Irish court appearance.

Daniel Kinahan, long associated with leadership of a major Irish organised crime network, appeared before a court in Ireland where he was formally charged with directing an organised crime group.

Following the hearing, he was remanded in custody pending further proceedings. Details of the next steps in the case have not yet been disclosed.
