Since 2013, the Estonian town of Paide has hosted the Opinion Festival every second weekend of August, bringing together people from various walks of life — including politicians and business figures — to discuss pressing issues facing Estonian society.

Second day's discussions

The festival's second day featured a wide range of panel discussions. Topics included entrepreneurship in the age of artificial intelligence, as well as international responsibility in relation to the situation in Ukraine. Another discussion focused on young people who have dropped out of the education system.

The event's broad agenda touched on economic, social and international political themes, reflecting the festival's aim of providing a platform for open debate on issues relevant to Estonian society.
