The Verge, a technology news site, has rounded up several current deals on video games and gaming hardware. The main one is this month's Humble Choice lineup: the subscription costs $14.99 per month and delivers games for the Steam PC platform.

Humble Choice lineup

This month's subscribers get titles including Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Psychonauts 2 and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. The games stay in the user's library permanently, even if they pay for only one month. Members can also buy digital games at lower prices, including Nintendo Switch 2 titles: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time costs members $53.99, while most other full-price games are about $6 cheaper than retail.

Valve Index

Valve said in late 2025 that it had stopped manufacturing the wired Valve Index virtual reality headset. The company is selling off its remaining stock at 20 percent off: the headset costs $399.20 (down from $499), a replacement left controller is $119.20 ($149), and a replacement tether cable is $103.20 ($129). The headset needs a base station, also called a lighthouse, to track movement. Valve no longer sells them, so buyers must look on sites such as eBay or Craigslist.

Borderlands 4 and The Odyssey

The disc edition of first-person looter shooter Borderlands 4 for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 is $19.91 at Amazon. The 2025 game usually sells for around $30, and this is its lowest price so far.

The 4K Blu-ray set of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which also includes a standard Blu-ray and a digital code, can be preordered for $29.99 at Best Buy and $29.65 at Barnes and Noble. Its original price is $34.99. First-time purchasers on Gruv can get it for $25.46 with the code FIRSTGRUV15. The film launches on November 17.
