Latvian beach volleyball stars Graudiņa and Samoilova catch Shakira concert en route to Mallorca training camp
Latvian beach volleyball players Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova attended a Shakira concert in Madrid before heading to a training camp in Mallorca, where they will take on coaching roles.

Latvian beach volleyball duo Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova made a special stop in Madrid on their way to a training camp in Mallorca, attending a concert by Colombian singer Shakira. The pair said they had deliberately planned the stopover in the Spanish capital specifically to see the show.
Concert highlights
The athletes shared photos and videos from the event on social media, showing them singing and dancing along to Shakira's best-known songs. Afterward, they described the evening as one they will remember for a long time.
Next stop: Mallorca
Following the concert, the pair's journey continues to Mallorca, where they will take on an unusual role this time around — stepping away from competition to serve as coaches instead. Graudiņa and Samoilova have spent several seasons among the world's elite in beach volleyball, have represented Latvia at the Olympic Games, and are two-time European champions, giving them plenty of experience to pass on in Mallorca.
