Graudiņa/Samoilova reach final at Hamburg beach volleyball Elite 16 tournament
Latvia's leading women's beach volleyball duo Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova won their semifinal in Hamburg on Sunday, advancing to the final of the professional Elite 16 tour tournament. Latvia's men's pair Mārtiņš Pļaviņš and Kristians Fokerots were due to play their semifinal later the same day.
Latvia's top women's beach volleyball pairing, Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova, secured a place in the final of the Elite 16 beach volleyball tournament in Hamburg after winning their semifinal match on Sunday. They will now compete for gold in the tournament's concluding match.
Men's pair still in contention
Later the same day, Latvia's men's beach volleyball duo, Mārtiņš Pļaviņš and Kristians Fokerots, were set to play their own semifinal, with a chance to reach the men's final as well.
The Hamburg stop is part of the international Elite 16 tour, which brings together the world's top beach volleyball pairs.
