How the game went
Jaxel Lendeborg was the top performer for the winners, scoring 23 points, grabbing ten rebounds and handing out six assists. Gui Santos added 15 points, while Brandin Podziemski contributed 14. For the Kings, Dario Eikafs led the way with 25 points.
It was the Warriors' second win in four exhibition games this preseason.
Porzingis' situation
Porzingis also missed the team's training camp in Hawaii because of health issues. It is not yet known when the Latvian will be able to fully resume training. At the end of June, he extended his contract with the Golden State club for two years.
What comes next
Before the regular season begins, the Warriors will play preseason games against the Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers. The team's first regular-season NBA game is scheduled for October 21.
