Galatasaray table 45m-euro bid for Martinelli, Zubimendi could leave Arsenal
Galatasaray have submitted a 45 million euro offer to Arsenal for Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli, while Arsenal are reportedly willing to sell midfielder Martin Zubimendi to Chelsea. Several other transfer moves are also progressing across the Premier League.
Turkish club Galatasaray have formally offered Arsenal 45 million euros (roughly £38.4m) for 25-year-old Brazil international forward Gabriel Martinelli.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are said to be open to letting Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi go for a fee of at least £77m, with Chelsea emerging as the strongest suitor for the 27-year-old.
Other transfer developments
Aston Villa have held discussions with West Ham over signing 28-year-old DR Congo right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is valued at around £25m.
Ipswich are close to finalising the signing of 20-year-old Ivory Coast-born right-back and midfielder Abdoul Ouattara from Strasbourg.
Aston Villa have offered Bayern Munich a loan-with-option-to-buy deal for 31-year-old Portugal midfielder Joao Palhinha, though the German club still prefers an outright permanent sale.
Newcastle continue talks to sign 23-year-old Benfica defender Amar Dedic, the Bosnia and Herzegovina international valued at about £25m. The club are also eyeing Brighton's Cameroonian midfielder Carlos Baleba as a possible replacement for their more experienced midfield options.
Hull City remain confident of completing a move for Augsburg's 21-year-old German midfielder Mert Komur despite an earlier £10.2m bid being turned down, and are also close to permanently re-signing striker Joe Gelhardt from Leeds after his loan spell.
Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock is reportedly open to a move to Besiktas in a deal worth around 20 million euros.
