French National Assembly deputies have just six months to complete legislative work before the presidential election in 2027.

French deputies have only six months left to be useful – their work in the assembly will end on February 28, 2027, two months before the presidential election. The list of laws to be examined is growing, including budget, justice, security, housing, agriculture, and violence against children, while the time allotted for debate is shrinking.
