France demolish Belgium in final quarter-hour as Turkey edge closer to relegation
France overturned a deficit in the closing stages to beat Belgium 4:1 in the UEFA Nations League top division, while Italy beat winless Turkey 3:1.

Wednesday's UEFA Nations League top-division matches in Group 1 of League A produced two notable results, with late goals deciding the outcome in Paris.
Belgium took an early lead against France through a first-half goal from Lukebakio, and that scoreline held until deep into the second half. However, starting from the 77th minute, the hosts turned the match around dramatically, scoring four goals in a short span through D. Doué, Sherki, and a double from Olise, with one of those late strikes coming in the very last minute of the match. The comeback win cemented France's position at the top of the group table.
In the same group, Italy hosted Turkey and secured a comfortable 3:1 victory at home. Turkey managed to level the score at 1:1 in the second half thanks to a goal from Şimşir, but Italy quickly restored their lead and added a further goal before the final whistle. The defeat leaves Turkey still without a single point in this campaign, sitting at the bottom of the group and facing a real threat of relegation from the top division.
Following these results, France lead Group 1 comfortably, ahead of Italy, Belgium and Turkey. The next round of group matches is scheduled for November, when Turkey will face Belgium and Italy will travel to play France.
