The two-week fashion residency program "FashionTex" has come to a close with an impressive finale event called the "LED Unit" fashion show. The show took place at a virtual production studio, allowing the garments to be presented in a new, technologically enhanced way.

International collaboration

Young designers from 11 European universities took part in the project. During the residency, they worked in creative workshops, producing both traditional physical garments and their digital counterparts.

Physical and digital fashion combined

At the closing show, the designers' work was presented in both formats — as classic, tangible clothing items and as digitally created fashion pieces using virtual production technology. This approach allows young creators to experiment with the latest technological possibilities in the fashion industry and to expand their understanding of how digital solutions can complement or transform traditional garment design.

The "FashionTex" project thus served as a platform where a new generation of designers could learn and apply digital fashion tools in a practical, creative context, while collaborating with peers from across Europe.
