EU to abolish import duties on 80% of Armenian goods
The European Union has decided to eliminate customs duties on 80% of imports from Armenia, including goods that Russia has restricted.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced on Thursday that the European Union will abolish import duties on 80% of goods originating from Armenia. This move is part of the EU's efforts to deepen economic ties with Armenia.
Notably, the removed tariff will also apply to products that Russia has restricted for import in response to Armenia's rapprochement with the EU. The decision will further strengthen Armenia's economic integration with Europe.
