The European Union has obtained confirmed evidence that China conducted military training for hundreds of Russian soldiers on its soil. These soldiers subsequently returned to Russia and were deployed to fight in Ukraine against Ukrainian forces.

According to EU intelligence sources, the training took place at Chinese military facilities. After completing the program, the soldiers were integrated into Russian units that participated in combat operations in Ukraine.

The findings raise new concerns about China's role in supporting Russia's aggression, despite Beijing's official denials of providing military assistance to Moscow. EU officials consider this evidence significant for international deliberations on potential sanctions or other measures against China.

The exact number of trained soldiers remains undisclosed, but sources indicate it is in the hundreds, not thousands. The EU is examining whether to release further details to increase diplomatic pressure on China.
