The European People's Party (EPP) has decided to expel Slovenian MEP Branko Grims over his cooperation with far-right forces. Grims co-organized an event with far-right lawmakers, vowing to tear down the cordon sanitaire.

MEPs are set to shield a colleague's immunity amid concerns about Bulgaria's EU prosecutor. Prosecutors allege that a Bulgarian lawmaker used parliamentary assistant funds to employ party officials in Sofia.

French far-right leader Jordan Bardella has stated that police raided contractors who worked for him. Bardella could be nominated as the National Rally's candidate for France's 2027 presidential election as early as next week.
