European Parliament to Vote on Reports on Ukraine, Moldova, and Serbia's EU Path
MEPs are expected to approve annual progress reports on the three countries' EU integration next week.

Next week, the European Parliament is set to vote on reports assessing the progress of Ukraine, Moldova, and Serbia toward European Union membership. Debates on the three countries are scheduled for Tuesday, July 7.
The draft report on Ukraine commends the country's efforts to strengthen democratic institutions amid the war. It welcomes progress in judicial reform and anti-corruption measures, but calls for further reforms in these critical areas to prepare for EU membership.
Regarding Moldova, the report praises progress across all negotiation chapters and the country's commitment to EU-related reforms despite significant internal and external challenges. MEPs urge Moldova to accelerate key reforms to provisionally conclude accession talks by early 2028 and join the EU by 2030.
For Serbia, the report notes a stagnation in its EU path. Concerns center on the state of democracy and rule of law, as well as increased political polarization. The report highlights the need for structural reforms, including anti-corruption efforts, a comprehensive normalization agreement with Kosovo, and full alignment with EU foreign policy.
