Discord now runs natively on Meta Quest headsets
Discord has launched a native app for Meta Quest VR headsets, featuring full functionality and deep VR integration, including in-game overlay and avatar support.

After a long wait, Discord has officially arrived on Meta Quest VR headsets as a native app. The announcement was made at last year's Meta Connect conference, and now the app is finally available.
Previously, users who wanted to access Discord on their VR headsets had to rely on workarounds such as sideloading. The native app offers a much smoother and more integrated experience.
The app includes all the signature Discord features – access to servers, direct messages, and voice calls. It automatically uses the headset's built-in microphone for calls, eliminating the need for extra gear. One notable convenience is the ability to pin the Discord interface within the play space, keeping it visible during games.
Quest users can also stream their gameplay directly to Discord and join voice calls using their Meta avatar. This makes communication and sharing gaming experiences in VR much more seamless and intuitive.
