Dienas Bizness and Dienas Žurnāli begin digital transformation with Recovery Fund support

Publisher "Dienas bizness" signed an agreement with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFLA) on January 9, 2025, to receive support under the Recovery Fund-financed measure "Modernization of media sector enterprise processes." The contract number is 2.2.1.5.i.0/1/24/A/CFLA/004.

Project goal

The project aims to carry out the digital transformation of the Dienas Bizness and Dienas Žurnāli publications, helping them better adapt to current media consumption habits and strengthening the interplay between digital and print media.

Planned solutions

The project is structured in two stages. By June 30, 2025, two customer relationship management (CRM) systems are to be implemented. By June 30, 2026, the publisher plans to launch two mobile applications and two Smart TV applications, as well as expand the functionality of existing platforms, including improvements to the Dienas subscription system (DAS).

The project is funded through the Recovery Fund as part of broader support for media sector companies aimed at boosting their digital development and competitiveness amid changing media consumption patterns.
